Allen Wood serves as Regional Supervisor for benefits operations for the Northern part of the State. He is a U.S. Army veteran with multiple deployments with Engineering and support units in operations around the globe.
After his discharge from the Army, he worked in Washington D.C., Maryland, and West Virginia as a contractor for various projects and as the owner of a business focused on communications infrastructure.
Wood returned to college, earned his bachelor’s degree, and began working at the Department of Veterans Assistance as a work-study in the Parkersburg Benefits Office. After graduation in 2015, he moved to a full-time position in the Huntington Claims Office. He transferred back to Parkersburg in 2017 and was promoted to Regional Supervisor in 2018.
