Veterans Benefits Workshop

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – A free workshop on veterans legal benefits was held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, in the State Law Library located in the State Capitol.

Mike Lyons, Operations Manager of the West Virginia Department of Veterans Assistance, discussed state and federal benefits and described how the appeal process works. Veterans in the state of West Virginia have free representation from his agency during the claims and appeal process.

The session was open to the public.
