Frank Buckles, Last World War I Doughboy, Died at Age of 110

Frank Buckles, who came to symbolize a generation of embattled young Americans as the last of the World War I doughboys, died peacefully in his home in Charles Town, West Virginia of natural causes at approximately 12:30 AM on Sunday, February 27, 2011. He was 110.
